I say 3-4/5. At some points disappointing. Seems to rush on too much. Doesn't let you see what's going on.
Good action, nicely adapted, great characters. Apart perhaps from Missi Pyle and Mickey Rourke. Too little of Mr Grin.
THink it'll be a hit. Cinema about 2/3 full!
DAMN FROSTIES ADVERT SHOWN ON THE FRICKING BIG SCREEN. Such torture.

just been to see it and i have to say was really impressed although teh jellyfish scene was a little dissapointing because its a main even in the book and wasnt focused on much in the film i think alex p played his character very well but i would have loved to see this film a 12 was surrounded by little kids lol

Bits I didn't like:
Jellyfish screamed FAKE!
Jack (Silverstone) was too whiny.
Missi Pyle was too comic as Nadia.
Jimmy Carrs' appearence.....I mean, huh!?
Other than that....EXCELLENT!
Sabina's appearence was something I worried about but it didn't affect too much!
Bill Nighy was so funny!
The fighting was awesome, and the training bits were the best ^_^
