I'm currently reading AH's adult book 'The Killing Joke' and there's a part when a character is saying they are fixing the ceiling of The British Museum in London as it was damaged recently.

Do you think it was young Mr Rider smashing through and wrecking the place?!??!?!?

It's nice to think that AH's books all exist in the same universe... whilst the Diamond brothers are doing their thing, Alex is doing his thing, whilst Detective Barnaby is in Midsomer and Matt Freeman is in Peru...

 What say you AH fans?

I'm not wuite sure when the killing joke came out first, or when he wrote it.  In my english version it says 2004 and in my dutch version it says 2002...anyways, stormbreaker appeared in 2000, so it's possible

Nice idea, but it's the Science Museum that Alex goes through the roof of in Stormbreaker, not the British museum.

It's an adult book he wrote a few years ago. I'm currently reading it. It's about tracing a joke all the way back to its creator... very Horowitz!!

I really don't think Power of Five and Diamond Brothers/Alex Rider match. In the latter world there isn't magic and stuff.

i dont get that too...lol?
can some one tell me what it s about?
well there's this man called Guy Fletcher ...i think and he hears a joke about his dead mother, Selina More, a famous actress...so then he decides to follow the joke and find out who made it up....on his way he comes across a lady called....what's her name...Sally Lockwood...and then they fall in love and then they find out that the joke came from a company that doesnt want to be know so they hide themself as a vacume cleaner company and pretends to sell vacume cleaners but really they are just using that to disrubute the joke...so now that Guy and Sally found out about them...they have to die...the escape and then ru away...and live happily ever after together!...oh and along the line....they try to prevent Guy from trying to find out about them....so the kill people so they cant tell him where they heard the joke from....its a quiet long book....but i really liked it....it was the only adult book i was allowed to read..lol...but it was stil good

Nice idea, but it's the Science Museum that Alex goes through the roof of in Stormbreaker, not the British museum.

oh yeahh...good spotting....it was...as it has been said already...lol  grin grin grin
