Sorry if there's already a topic for this, but have any of you US fans found any copies of the movie for rental in Blockbusters or something? I've looked a couple times at my local Blockbusters a while back and they didn't have any copies whatsoever. Nor did they plan on getting any..

Does anyone know where I can find a copy to rent out?

Thanks. ^___^

well my friend has bought the DVD, and we live in the US, so it should be in blockbuster. but if you cant find it for rent you can always order it.

hope that helps.

Well, I know it's available on amazon to buy. But I'm not really willing to spend $20 for them to ship it over.  tongue

I'd much rather find some place to rent it.

why do you only want to rent it? i dont understand why people spend x amount of dollars to see a movie a couple of times, while you spend the same amount and watch it as many times as you want. if you dont mind explaning that to me.

Well, over here, DVDs tend to cost around $20 to buy. But if I just want to rent it, it only costs me about 99c at my local DVD rental place. I only buy movies if it's really good and I enjoy watching it over. Other than that, I usually rent them.

Well all dvd's start around in the US at an average of 19-25 dollars. Which is 9-12 pounds.
But prices drop after like 1-3 weeks. then it's like 14-17 dollars.

Well I never saw the movie. I heard it was released in the U.K.in 06', so I was waiting for it to come out in the US! I really want to see it, as I hear it is pretty good. I did not know that you could pick it up, at say, Blockbuster. ........How could I be so ignorant cry. Oh well, I guess I'll see it some day. What are other places people have rented to movie at...in US? huh

Actually I found them on Ebay. The link is here:

http://search.ebay.com/ALex-Rider-Movie_W0QQ_trksidZm37QQdfspZ1QQfromZR40QQfsooZ1QQfsopZ34QQsatitleZALexQ20RiderQ20MovieQ5cQQsbrsrtZd

It was copied onto that page on 1/1/07 (whoops, now 08'), so some of them might not be there if you check in on them later. Ebay has everything these days!
