Damn, people keep noticing when I steal jokes! It's unfair xD

And that does annoy me... how just because you're a racial minority it means you can get away with being racist... it's almost racist in itself; I'm white and British. If I made a joke at a black person's expense, I'd be counted as racist. If that person made a joke at my expense (I'd laugh as mocking the British is something I enjoy a lot) they'd be fine...

I REVIVE THIS TOPIC THROUGH THE POWERS OF AWESOMENESS and also because I have actually been legitimately thinking about this.

Seriously, Alex Rider has always been and will probably remain one of my favorite book characters of all time. I recently realized that although he doesn't undergo the sort of character developement or depth HP has, it never bothered me. I think the fact that Alex's awesomeness has remained so steady throughout all the books makes him awesome. Like, Alex in Stormbreaker is no less cool than Alex in Scorpia Rising, despite his 7 books of experience in the middle. Admittedly, he did remain the same age while Harry grew 7 years.

The Po5 kids developed a lot though, so no complaints there.

And just so I don't bore you TOO much with this tl;dr post, I'll give you a quick scenario:

Alex: Hey, Harry, ever wonder why you broke the Elder Wand in that movie?
Harry: Alex, you said you'd never mention that again!
Alex: Yeah, but... why'd you break it?
Harry: IT WASN'T ME. IT WAS DANIEL RADCLIFFE.
Alex: Well, isn't that the same thing?
Ron: Yeah, Alex, don't go there.
Alex: Why not?
Ron: Well, if Harry and Movie!Harry are the same, then you've just starred in five chick flicks.
Alex -looks horrified- what?!
Ron: Yeah. First you were with Emma Roberts. Then you were with Mary-Kate Olsen and Vanessa Hudgens. Then you chilled with Quinn from Glee. And let's not talk about Tormented. You got your... wand chopped off.
Alex: WHAT?!
Hermione: ...as alarming as that is, what /I/ want to know is WHY Ron knows all this.
Ron: ...
Harry: ...
Alex: Wait, no, seriously, WHAT?!
