definitely Scott. I feel like we dont really know him that well even though I know he would do anything to save his brother i dont know if he would do anything to save the other gatekeepers especially if it put Jaime in danger

I think Scott, if he can be controlled once, why cant he be controlled again, but the again, if they can control one, whats there to say they cant control someone else and use him/her against the other gatekeepers, i personally am very interested in reading the final book. ...

i do 2 but i think he might do little things that will make a big difference in the end so even if they control him the 5 or 4 will still have a small chance..... like he wouldnt let the really bad things happen.... if any of that makes sense..

I don't know about Scott betraying them, its to obvious, i don't think the old ones would do it, everyone seems to be expecting it, and Scott wouldn't betray them of his own free will.
 I think they might try to control Richard. He's very close to Matt and so would find it easy to kill him, possibly with the knife the inca prince gave him (and then when he comes to his senses he will regret ever having it and maybe possibly kill himself with it), or maybe Scarlett, i don't think it would take much to turn her against them, her mother could be captured  by the old ones and then they'd make Scarlett do what they want.

I am new HI!!! lol well I have to agree it is way to obvious if scott is the traitor... maybe scarlett but i think she might die.... it was quite obvious that when jaime died and went to the old world that something simular was going to happen in the new world...i think scar might come back if or when scarlett die's or turns bad guy if she turns bad guy and then dies scar will probably freak and seriously show the old ones where to put it lol.

You guys are all forgeting the possibility of Matt.

Now I know that Matt seems like the least likely to become traitor, but if you think about his position you may see my point.  Matt has just been thrust into a position of power where he has to make all the decisions and one wrong decision may end up in the world coming to an end.  That's got to be a lot of pressure and it doesn't seem to me that  Matt deals with pressure very well.  Another thing is that no one would suspect Matt to switch sides because he was the first to figure out about the Old Ones.  These things combined make me think that if AH was going to make one of The Five a traitor Matt would be it.  It's just something AH would do to us.

i think i'll stick with Scott being the tratior. He would be the easyist to be made the tratior because he was well programed when he was at scilent creek and he still wasn't recovered at the end of the last book.

I personally just wanted to bring Matt into the conversation.  He may be the most important but he's always the one who's over looked.  You never know what will happen.......

I reckon both Scott and Jamie will leave the Five... Oh yeah and Richard Cole dies. It's so obvious. Think about it, he was the person whio was dragged into it all from the start. Matt will feel guilty. Then something treacherous would happen like Matt blaming himself so he goes and confronts the Old Ones alone so no one else gets hurt, like in Harry Potter lol.
