Again, welcome back to the Attic.

Here is a quick reminder of the rules, courtesy of Dilan.

Have fun =)

Quote from: DilanMelis
Hey, welcome to the resurrection of our sacred Attic. In order to keep things running smoothly, we have a few house rules that will be the foundations to the topic.

Basically, they are as follows-

-We're young, relatively free, smart, wear awesome pants and therefore have the right to show our flair in the Attic.
-But because we don't want to get sick of each other, we probably shouldn't (that being we definitely can't) post things that are absolutely useless i.e. "HEY! Bye!"
-Basically it's about as simple as following our very own slightly creepy mantra, Thou shalt make comments that are both witty, and meaty (ARRR).

What am I trying to say?
Say whatever you please (provided that it's within the rules) and isn't considered spam. Try write as much as possible without waffling, and be sure to enjoy yourself in a way that won't get the topic sent off to Mount Doom.

grin

There is also one very important thing for you to remember: if we see the quality of the posts in other topics decrease because of certain attic habits you may acquire, then the Attic may be removed.

Enjoy!

It got locked while I was midpost.  sad

like I was going to say I would be willing to smoke a pipe. But a water pipe would be preferably. It just tastes nicer.

Ah... Clever. I used to have a teacher who really loved Star Wars. And for my 4th birthday, I got one of them Star Wars Lightsabers.

I got one of them last year from my brother, apperently all geeks should have one.
I wonder when i became a geek....

I became a geek since.... forever. I've always been into something geeky. I can't help it, I never wanted to be normal... WHO WANTS TO BE NORMAL?!

See, I've got a pretty geeky general persona.... Harry Potterness, loves books, actually finds science type homework interesting, researches things and all.... but Star Wars never really got me. I liked the music, but it never really did anything for me...

I was such a huge fan of Star Wars... until I got into Final Fantasy which then got me into Anime and stuff... But even before Star Wars it was stuff like Harry Potter. I've always been fairly geeky (only just got into Star Trek... and SERIOUSLY into it... I am OFFICIALLY a geek now).

I actually don't mind being called a Geek, hell, I find it a compliment... it's just Nerd I don't like. I know they mean the same thing but Nerd is NEVER used in a positive way... whilst Geek can be either. So in general, I prefer being described as a Geek.

Ewwwwwwwwww. I'm all for le geeks and everything, but not a Star Wars geek. Harry Potter geek, maybe. Lord of the Rings geek ... okay, I haven't read the books. But Legolas! *grins widely* ... a general all-around book geek? YES!!

Star Wars, however ... no. Just ... no. I mean, i like lightsabers as much as your next person, but i can't imagine myself being all, "May the force be with you" and everything. I'd just Avada Kedavra the lot, personally xD

Haha. I'm just playing nice while I prepare my rebellion really. It's got Ewoks and all!

Ewoks! I thought that was a cartoon! *jaw drops* But - but - I spent half my childhood watching Ewoks!!

Hah! I knew I couldn't be wrong ... *sigh of relief* it's not just for Star Wars, apparently xD

Pipe!

I'm kinda confused at why there's a new attic now.  Is there a rule about the length of pages topics can be or something?

Also, I'm a big nerd myself. and I guess I'm just the opposite of MadameLupin because I always say nerd for myself rather than geek haha.  but I do get what you're saying, nerd has more of a negative connotation than geek I guess.  oh well.  But as for starwars, its pretty much the only standard geek thing I've never been a part of.  I've never watched any of the movies and I don't really plan on it either, they just don't appeal to me.  However, I did LOVE the new Star Trek movie

Aw, everyone loved the new Start Trek movie xD Even like, the ungeekiest losers at my school ... (okay, i classify them as losers. I suppose they are, in normal-people-terms, "cool").

Yeah, AR:A ^^ We generally lock topics after they reach 50 pages ... who wants to go post in a topic that's a 100+, anyway? And worse, which poor mod wants to READ all that?! *looks horrified* (although, of course, i probably would have used up like 50 of those hundred pages myself, but ...)

I wish i knew why I suddenly feel like posting right before school, when I'm supposed to be doing economics! Argh!!
