I remember when I first joined...I read through 2 topics on the fourth PO5 book, and i\I was so terrified to post...everyone had backed up their ideas so well, and there were so many good ideas (or what I thought were good ideas) that were ripped to shreds by even better arguments....

And the Attic: My GOD!!! I was terrified of the place!! I never understood what was happening. Then, I got the hang of it, and slowly dared to post....

And by the way,, I have exams in two weeks. what have I done so far? NOTHING!!!!!!
If I fail, it's all AH's fault. I fully intend to sue.

DON'T SUE AH! PLEASE!

I can't remember being scared of the attic exactly... just confused. I didn't knwo the difference between the Attic and the Lounge... so I eventually spoke when I had something relevant to say.

ML, I have no choice. If I don't get 60 %, I have to write a final exam. And It's AH's fault I'm here in the first place, and not studying. I mean, If he hadn't been such a great author, I  never would have wanted to know about his next book, I never would have joined the Message board, I never would have made such great friends, and I never would have spent more time on here than with my books.

LOL i was really scared of the attic when i first joined. Everybody knew each other, and most posts were stuuf like 'Hi who's online' Or 'OMG *insert username here* I havent talked to you in ages* i was intimidated1  tongue
On the nerd geek subject, i prefer geek but Im not a star wars geek though( which is why i was puzzled to receive a lightsaber for my birthday), im more of an anime/manga geek.

LOL. All this talk about beig scared of the attic. I'm not a forum person, I can't sustain interest in a
topic long enough for that. The attic is why I joined though admittedly I had a coach on hand. Man I miss those IST lessons. They were

Ooh Wookies. I could do with a couple of them. Only if they're nice though!

I say that, but I'm not actually a Star Wars geek either. Well, there's the occasional reference here and there and I do like the films but that's about it.

I am a geek though. I like messing with computers, I can build a website, I like manga (more shoujo that shonen though), I like Japanese and Korean dramas, etc. But I get along with most people regardless of their geekiness.

Oh, and I just Spell checked that and it wanted to turn Wookies into Bookies xD

...I'm well known for being the Nerd. Only that's because of a mixture of books and scifi stuff (namely Doctor Who and Torchwood) and because I find some stuff really exciting... like parasites and blood and stuff. And I'm really excited about next year because of the IB and how it's all new and everything (to my school....)

What's IB?

I don't think I'm a geek, I never really managed to like Star wars ( i never actually managed to watch the movies), Althouggh UI have  a teensy obsession with LOTR.

I have been called a nerd excessively though (including by momy mother) due to the fact I actually do try and work hard at my schoool/uni stuff. i mean It is Importanat!! ort at least that's the way I see it.

Alsi because I prefer to read than say, watch TV. People think I'm wierd. I don't think that's true.
