Anthony at Althorp Literary Festival

The Althorp Literary Festival is thrilled to announce the addition of Anthony Horowitz, OBE to this year's line up.

As one of the most prolific and successful writers working in the UK, Anthony is unique for triumphs across so many media, juggling writing books, TV series, films, plays and journalism. Anthony has written over 40 books including the teen spy series Alex Rider, which has sold 19 million copies worldwide, and the Power of Five series.

He was commissioned by the Conan Doyle Estate to write two new Sherlock Holmes novels - The House of Silk, and Moriarty - and by the Ian Fleming Estate to write the James Bond novel Trigger Mortis. Anthony is also responsible for creating and writing some of the UK's most beloved and successful television series, including Midsomer Murders, and Foyle's War. DCS Foyle has been voted the nation's favourite detective.

Discussing his literary inspirations Anthony Horowitz will be in conversation with one of our superb interviewers on Saturday 2nd July, at 5.30pm.
