Anthony chatted live with fans onThe Guardian website yesterday. Some great questions and answers from James Bond to Midsomer Murders and of course David Walliams (?)
Q: Hi Anthony. Do you find a great difference between how you write thrillers for children (e.g. Alex Rider) and those for adults (Bond, Moriarty)?
A: At the end of the day, story is what matters to me, and you could say that story is the river that runs through all my work. I try not to see any difference between writing for children and writing for adults. I just go with the story. Of course, the marketing, the packaging and some of the content is different - but the actual act of writing, the physicality, is the same.
