If Michael Kitchen, Honeysuckle and Anthony—and the other regulars of THE HOME FRONT series— are available and willing—it would be absolutely WONDERFUL to FINISH THE WAR by having episodes set in 1943 and 1944. I have read many MASS OBSERVATION diaries and find so many details accurately reflected in FOYLE’S WAR—a series that really brings WW2 in England to life for those of us who are fascinated by the history, the experiences of those who survived it—or didn’t. The character of Foyle is the perfect incarnation of bedrock English integrity and the series, in every episode, highlights in one way or another, WHY the war was fought—values which are still worth fighting for—with no self-serving compromise. Not only is Foyle absolutely honest, with a very strong sense of justice—he is delightfully and refreshingly intelligent—in fact, all of the characters are engaging and lovable. The production values are the highest; the actors are superlative; the plots fascinating; and each episode has been a real work of art. Please give US the opportunity to see Foyle FINISH the last 2.5 years of Foyle’s War.
