I listen to talking books on my 40 minute journey to work and back, saw the Alex Rider Six Missions collection and picked them up to listen to. I find them extremely well written [and well narrated] and exciting; - I look forward to my drive to work to see how Alex escapes each cliff-hanger situation. I’d love to see ‘Alex Rider the TV series’ - as a boxed set in my case.
Since then I have bought and listened to several more in the series, as well as the Sherlock Holmes story ‘The House of Silk’, which I enjoyed so much that I’ve ordered ‘Moriarty. I’ve also ordered the first four books of the Power of Five, again in CD format, on the strength of my enjoyment of the Alex Rider series.
I really joined the forum to say a thank you to Anthony for both offering so much enjoyment and helping me de-stress after a challenging day at work, and to say what a fine writer he is, but I’ll also hang about to join in the conversation here.
