Anthony at Quais du Polar Festival in Lyon

Anthony will be attending the Quais du Polar crime fiction festival in Lyon from 1st-3rd April.

On Friday, he will introduce the third James Bond film instalment Goldfinger.

On Saturday he is on the panel for Black Attack on the Union Jack - looking at British thrillers and discussing literary figures including Charles Dickens, Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Ted Lewis and Robin Cook. Host Catherine Fruchon-Toussaint will lead Anthony and fellow authors Sophie Hannah, John Lawton, Moatti Michel and Luc Brunschwig & Cecil, in a discussion revisiting the history of England and its literary myths.
On Sunday he is on the panel for The Resurrection of Heroes - hosted by Macha Sery, he will join David Lagercrantz, Sophie Hannah and Jean Van Hamme to discuss literary characters such as James Bond, Hercule Poirot, Blake and Mortimer and Lisbeth Salander, among others, who have each become true myths who's common point is to survive the death of their creators. Meet four writers who took up the challenge to revive heroes created by others.
